Those who are close to me know that I have a special love for the heritage and culture of Native Americans. As a native of Ohio, I have long enjoyed visits to the beautiful and mystifying Serpent Mound located in Peebles, Ohio. Next spring, from March 18, 2017 through March 20, 2017, a celebration will take place that will bring peoples from as far away as New Zealand to participate in the Serpent Mound Spring Seed and Water Peace Summit.
I will add additional posts later, but one of the concerns right now is raising funds to hold this event. I am putting “my money where my mouth is.” I pledge to help this effort by donating a portion of my book sales as follows:

SERPENT MOUND SPRING SEED AND WATER PEACE Woodland Altars
March 18-20th 2017: That is Saturday, Sunday and the Spring Equinox Monday the 20th. Ceremony will be at Serpent Mound the 20th. The rest at Woodland Altars.
Elders, Speakers and Musicians to be announced as well as vendors.
It takes a village for sure, so any suggestions, help and volunteers would be welcome.
There will be children’s workshops and a peace summit just for them, so if you are interested in being a teacher WE NEED YOU!!
